The Commissioned Wing
For ordinary photos deemed eligible for unnecessary computational treatment.
As Nigel would put it
The Commissioned Wing is where the work is made now, as it should be. Here, you nominate a single movement (from the painterly to the frankly, gloriously abstract) and your image is escorted to Nigel's own apparatus for a slower, more deliberate, considerably more expensive-looking treatment: four deliberate variations of your chosen movement, each rendered by a genuine image model that has been seeded to behave. The commissioning costs nothing, and the four variations are yours to scrutinise without charge; you part with money only should you fall hopelessly in love with one (or several) and wish to acquire it as a download or print.
You commission
From the studio, nominate a movement and send the photo to the Wing. Sign-in required; the committee insists on knowing who to blame.
Nigel deliberates
The apparatus renders four deterministic, one-of-one variations of your chosen movement on Nigel's own GPU. It takes a moment. The moment is the point.
It is, regrettably, finished
Keep whichever interpretations earn a plinth. Each joins your collection with full provenance: ready to share, certify, download, or commit to a physical object.
What it costs
- The queue & review: free
- Queueing the Wing render and inspecting all four variations costs nothing. Sign-in required; the committee insists on knowing who to blame.
- Keeping one: free
- Save the surviving variation to your private collection without paying. From there it can send a free e-card or wait, very patiently, for further ambition.
- Downloads, prints & gifts: paid
- Payment begins only when you choose a download, print, card, mug, tile, or other object and review the order before Stripe. No surprises, no subscription, no standing order to Nigel.
