Every physical piece is produced to order by our print partners and dispatched once it exists. This page explains how long that takes, what it costs, where we ship, and what happens if the courier loses your nerve along with your parcel.

We do not hold stock. When you acquire a physical piece (a canvas, print, board, tile, or the Mug of Institutional Authority) it is manufactured specifically for you by a professional print partner (such as Prodigi) after your payment is confirmed.
This means total delivery time is production time plus transit time. The estimates below account for both. Digital downloads, by contrast, are available immediately and involve no shipping at all.
These are typical estimates for standard shipping, not guarantees. Production runs Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Larger formats, framed pieces, and multi-item orders can sit at the longer end of the range.

Estimates run from the day production begins, not the moment you click buy. Peak periods (December, in particular) add time, as does the occasional courier with an artistic temperament.
At checkout you'll see a more specific estimate for your order: because some items are produced in the lab nearest you and others ship internationally from our UK facility, the exact window depends on where your piece is made.
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your destination, the product, and the quantity, and is shown clearly before you pay. The figure quoted is the figure you are charged. There are no surprise handling fees added afterwards.
Where multiple items ship together, the courier's combined rate is used rather than charging full shipping per item.
We ship internationally to the destinations offered at checkout. If your country is not selectable, we are unable to fulfil a physical order there at present, but the digital download is available everywhere and prints beautifully on a printer of your own choosing.
One exception, declared up front so no one is wounded at the till: greeting cards are posted from the United Kingdom. Most reach UK addresses only; a select few deign to travel to the EU. The card's availability (βUK onlyβ or βUK & EUβ) is shown on each card and again at checkout, where an unsuitable destination is politely refused before payment.
International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, or customs charges levied by the destination country. These are set by local authorities, are outside our control, and are the recipient's responsibility. They are not included in the price or shipping shown at checkout.
Customs inspection can also add unpredictable delay. We cannot influence how long a parcel sits on a particular desk being admired.
We email you as your order moves through its milestones (payment confirmed, in production, dispatched, and delivered) and your orders page shows a live timeline. Where the courier provides tracking, it is included in the dispatch update.
You are responsible for providing a complete, accurate delivery address and contact details. We cannot reroute a parcel once production has started, and we are not responsible for failed or delayed delivery caused by an incorrect address, an absent recipient, or refusal of delivery. Orders returned to the partner due to an incorrect address may incur a reshipping cost.
If your order arrives damaged or defective, or has not arrived well beyond the estimated window, email hello@unremarkableart.com with your order reference and, for damage, clear photographs. We will investigate with the fulfilment partner and arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.
Please report damage promptly (ideally within 14 days of delivery) so we can raise it with the partner while a claim is still possible. Full refund, cancellation, and consumer-rights terms are set out in our Terms and Conditions.
Digital downloads are not shipped. The clean, high-resolution file becomes available on your orders page immediately after payment, alongside the provenance certificate. No courier, no customs, no waiting by the window.
