Uploads, generated previews, print assets, and provenance pages each have a purpose. This page explains when they are kept, why they are kept, and when they are expected to leave the archive.

Ordered assets
180 days
Print assets may be kept longer so we can support fulfillment, reprints, and payment records.
Provenance pages
Opt-in
Generated artwork is only publicly shareable when you choose to create a provenance page.
Digital e-cards
Delivery record
Card records are kept so links work, opens can be counted, and abuse can be investigated.
When you upload and save artwork, we may keep a reduced source preview, a generated preview, and a print-ready asset. These are used to show your saved artwork, create optional provenance pages, and prepare checkout.
Unordered source and generated assets are scheduled for deletion after 14 days. Deleted artwork is removed from your saved collection and is no longer available for checkout.
Ordered print assets are retained for up to 180 days so we can support fulfillment, reprints, dispute handling, and payment records. This is about making the ending reliable after someone pays.
Provenance pages are opt-in. You can disable sharing from your private collection. Showing the source image on a provenance page is a separate choice, so the generated artwork can be public without exposing the original upload.
When you send a digital card, we keep the sender, recipient, message, artwork link, and basic open/click counts so the card can be delivered, reopened, and protected from abuse. Recipient emails are used for that card dispatch, not for newsletter marketing.
